Terms of Service
Group 4 Networks Terms of Service for managed IT services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. These terms govern our service relationship across all IT support and technology services. Key terms of our service agreements: Service Level Commitments — we guarantee 15-minute response times for critical issues and 99.9% monthly uptime for managed systems, with a 10% monthly fee refund for any month we miss the uptime guarantee. Scope of Services — our managed IT agreements clearly define services in scope, from 24/7 monitoring and patch management to on-site support and strategic vCIO consulting, with responsibilities documented for both parties. Payment Terms — invoices issued monthly for recurring managed services, due within 30 days of the invoice date, in Canadian dollars. Fee changes require 60 days written notice. Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month. Limitation of Liability — liability is limited to fees paid for services in the preceding 12 months. Indirect and consequential damages are excluded. These limitations are governed by Ontario law and do not exclude liability for gross negligence. Governing Law — all agreements governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes resolved in Ontario courts, with mediation preferred before litigation. Data Protection — we maintain strict confidentiality of all client data in compliance with PIPEDA. Client data remains client property at all times and is securely returned or destroyed within 30 days of contract termination. Termination — either party may terminate with 60 days written notice. Immediate termination is available for material breach. Please note: these website terms provide a general overview.
