What Managed IT Costs a Toronto Business

What managed IT costs in Toronto: per-user pricing, what changes the quote, onboarding, contracts, and how to compare providers. From Group 4 Networks.

Most owners ask about price before anything else, and that makes sense. Nobody wants to sit through three meetings only to find out the number was never going to work.

So here is the honest version: what managed IT costs in Toronto, how we price it at Group 4 Networks, and what actually pushes a quote up or down. We have been doing this since 2008, and we publish our numbers, so there is no reason to be vague about them.

Per user, per month. You pay a set amount for each person on your team, every month. Their laptop, their Microsoft 365 account, their phone and their help desk tickets are covered under that one fee. This is the most common model, and it is the one we use.

Per device, or a custom flat fee. Some providers count devices and servers instead of people, or quote one flat number for the whole office. That can work for unusual setups, like a warehouse with lots of shared machines, but it is harder to compare from one provider to the next.

The main point of either model is the same. You pay a predictable monthly amount instead of getting a new invoice every time something breaks. If you are still on hourly break-fix support, that alone changes how you budget for IT.

Essentials: $120 to $160 per user a month Business: $160 to $220 per user a month Enterprise: $220 to $300 or more per user a month

Each tier is a range rather than one number because no two offices are the same. A 20-person accounting firm in one cloud-only office is a very different job from a 20-person firm with an on-site server, two locations and a line-of-business app that only one vendor understands.

If you want to see what is included at each level, our page on managed IT services in Toronto walks through the service itself.

If you are comparing providers, managed IT services Toronto is where we describe monitoring, the help desk, and how a monthly plan is scoped.
