BlackBerry outage
BlackBerry devices on Friday suffered an outage for a few hours. This is the first outage since the launch of the new devices, the Z10 and the Q10. There were some talks of the DoD abandoning the use of BlackBerrys, however that isn’t the case. In fact, the DoD is now looking into adopting a more free mobile environment, kind of like a BYOD (bring your own device). The benefits to the user with BYOD is they could choose their own device to use for work, be it Apple iPhone, any Android device from a vast selection or a Windows Phone.
